- Working Tax Credit

How to claim Universal Credit
To make a claim, you will need to apply for Universal Credit on the GOV.UK website.

If you do not have access to the internet, you can get help with your Universal Credit application on the Citizen Advice website.
If you have received a Migration Notice letter
To continue getting financial support, you must claim Universal Credit by the deadline date on your Migration Notice.

If you need help with your rent
You will still need to claim Housing Benefit from us for help with your rent if you:
- live in temporary or specified accommodation
- are old enough to get a State Pension Credit
If you need help with your Council Tax bill
If you're receiving Universal Credit, you can also claim Council Tax Reduction.
