How to make a repayment arrangement

If you have only missed one payment

If you have missed one Council Tax payment and have not yet received a reminder or summons, you should make the payment as soon as possible to prevent further enforcement action. The quickest way to do this is to make the payment online.

If you still do not pay your bill

If you still do not pay, we may apply to your employer to take it directly from your salary or from your benefit payments – this is called Council Tax attachments.

If we cannot recover the debt from your employer or from your benefits we will use enforcement agents to collect the debt.
