Change your account details if you're a landlord receiving Housing Benefit payments

How to tell us that your bank or building society details have changed if you are a landlord who receives direct Housing Benefit payments from a tenant.

If you are a landlord and you receive Housing Benefit payments on behalf of your tenant, you can request to change your bank or building society account details.

If you are currently being paid Housing Benefit, this will be suspended whilst we process these changes.

If your account details change you must tell us immediately. These changes can take up to one month to take effect.
