Opening hours
The shop at Progress Way Tidy Tip:
- Monday and Tuesday – 10am to 4pm
- Wednesday and Thursday – closed
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 4pm
The shop at Eaton Green Road Tidy Tip:
- Monday and Tuesday – closed
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday – 10am to 4pm

What we accept and sell
You can donate items at any of our tidy tips. Speak to a team member if you’re not sure whether something is suitable.
We accept good-quality, reusable items, including:
- tools
- clothing and shoes
- electricals and mains-powered items
- furniture (soft furniture must have a valid fire safety label)
- garden
- DIY materials
- homeware
- kitchenware
- bags and luggage
- books
- vinyl, CDs and DVDs
- bicycles and bike racks
- sports equipment (excluding safety equipment)
- toys and games
All upholstered furniture and soft furnishings must include a valid fire safety label.
Items we cannot accept or sell
- VHS tapes
- furniture or soft furnishings without a fire safety label
- gas appliances and gas bottles
- household chemicals
- fuel-powered items (petrol mowers, strimmers)
- safety items (ladders, child seats, safety helmets, prams, buggies)
- weapons (knives, guns, swords)
- items that cannot be reused
If an item is not listed, please ask site staff. At the reuse shop manager will decide whether an item is suitable for sale. Items not priced and displayed in the shop are not for sale.
