How to recycle liquids and gases

Most liquids and gases can re recycled at the tip.

Aerosols 

Instead of aerosols, consider pump sprays instead.

You can recycle aerosols in your recycling bin. 

Antifreeze

Unwanted anti-freeze can be placed in the chemical waste container at the tip

Cooking oil

Do not pour cooking oil down the drain as it can create blockages. It can instead be remade into biodiesel, or used as a substitute for creosote.

Cooking oil can re recycled at the tip.

Engine oil

Do not pour engine oil down the drain, as it can be used to create biodiesel.

Engine oil can be recycled at the tip.

Gas cylinders/bottles

Do not place cylinders or bottles in the bin. Return them to the retailer or supplier.
